Standup Paddleboarding and Eddie Money...what could be better?! The CCBC Charles River Race is going to be one of the premier standup paddleboard races in the east. The venue couldn't be more perfect. Racing watercraft has a long history on the Charles and this event will add to that story. Community Boating has been teaching inner city kids to sail since 1936. A great facility along Boston's beautiful esplanade gives us the prefect start and finish location...this will be a very spectator friendly race. Happening on (we hope) a beautiful summer day while a free Eddie Money concert is underway at the Hatch Shell...of Boston pops and 4th of July fame. passing through the lagoons and under the foot bridges. Demos will start at 1:00, race starts at 3:00 and the party starts at 5:00. See the website for more details.
